ANATHA EDUCATION PROJECT

Supporting Education, Well-being and Sustainable Livelihoods

The Anatha Project supports vulnerable children, families, and older people in Battambang, Cambodia, helping them access education, improve health and hygiene, strengthen household livelihoods, and build greater resilience and well-being.

🌿 Our Vision for Change

From barriers → to opportunities
From vulnerability → to resilience
From dependence → to self-reliance
From limited access → to education and inclusion

About the Project

The Anatha Project takes a whole-family approach. Education is supported alongside food security, hygiene, health, sanitation, and livelihood opportunities because these areas are closely connected to children's ability to learn and families' ability to build a better future.

During the first semester of 2026, 20 students received bicycles, up to 158 students per month participated in enrichment classes, 300 families received rice support, four families received improved toilets, and four families received support for crop production.

Through education, family support, skills development, and community engagement, the project helps children remain in school while enabling families to improve their health, livelihoods, dignity, and self-reliance.

Project Activities and Story

“Supporting Education, Strengthening Families, Building Hope.”
The ANATHA Project brings together children, families, teachers, older people, and community members to create opportunities for education, well-being, and a more secure future.

The video shows how ANATHA support reaches communities through education activities, school support, community meetings, health and hygiene awareness, and assistance to vulnerable families. Children are encouraged to stay in school, develop their abilities, and dream about their future, while families receive support to strengthen their daily lives.

The stories of children, teachers, and community members demonstrate how small but meaningful support can create confidence, hope, and new opportunities. The project also supports vulnerable older people and encourages them to maintain their dignity and participate in productive activities.

“When children have opportunities to learn and families receive the support they need, communities can grow stronger together.”
